Your Haverhill Firefighters & Local 1011 Executive Board would like to congratulate Haverhill Firefighters Local 1011 President Timothy Carroll for his election to the Professional Fire Firefighters of Massachusetts District 4 Vice President. We trust that he will put in the same effort towards this new role as he did as the long-time leader of our organization. Strong work Tim!

Congratulations to Haverhill Fire Chief Robert O’Brien for earning his permanent appointing and receiving his new three-year contract. Your Haverhill Firefighters Local 1011 would like to commend Chief O’Brien and express our gratitude to the City of Haverhill for considering and following through with the union’s recommendation of hiring a candidate from within the ranks of the HFD.
Congratulations to Chief Bob O’Brien, who was officially sworn in as Haverhill’s new Fire Chief today in a ceremony at the Water St. Fire Station.
We would like to once again thank Mayor Jim Fiorentini for choosing to promote from within with a candidate that has dedicated himself to the City and knows the department, and it’s needs.
We would also like to thank Chief Laliberty for staying on past his retirement date to help make this process and transition go as smoothly as it possibly could.
